Widely acclaimed as one of the world’s top academic economists, Yanis Varoufakis also played a key role in European politics as Greece’s Finance Minister during the 2015 bailout crisis. He has a unique perspective on the financial crisis and at this year’s Summit he will take us through both the opportunities and pitfalls that may come from a fragmented union.

Acting as a counterpoint will be Jens Spahn, responsible for the German government’s annual budget and for representing Germany in the annual negotiations of the annual EU budget. Jens will give his perspective on potential scenarios and the future of the EU, on implications for workforce flexibility across Europe and on how business can navigate through our uncertain times.
